Apple’s always ahead of the game. I actually stopped working to watch the live coverage this morning. I’m sure the competition is shitting on themselves again for this one. Its definitely not for everyone, but behold… Mr. Jobs’ latest and greatest…the iPad.

I got in late at the venue and it was crackin’ off to say the least. To quote my man Garvin who was kind enough to send me some flicks he took, “Saturday night was like a Time Machine!” The last time I spun with Kien was back in 98 or 99? He just got on when I made my way through the thick crowd and definitely set the night off for me. Saw a lot of old friends, and even a handful of original Bar D Thursday regulars. Haven’t had a vibe like this in a long while and it definitely takes me back. Good people, good music, can’t go wrong with that chemistry.
Big thanks to my man Charlie Rock for having me & Kien. Thanks to everyone who came out for a memorable evening.

I’ll be spinning for my man Charlie Rock’s birthday tonight at Bar Pink. I haven’t spun with my man Kien Lieu for over a decade, this should be epic. Rain’s gone for the weekend at least, so come out and celebrate with us!

Like I need any more distractions… ladies & gentlemen…I present to you FUR TV.

I got this email from my awesome friend Allison. These sculptures were made from used tires. Creating art from something that is potentially harmful scores in my book. I want that menacing spider….

Tornado warnings in California? Word?! This calls for hot cocoa and movies. Too bad i’m at work…

I really didn’t know what to expect when I first got to the spot last night. I’ve never played at Tower Bar before, but the minute I walked in I felt right at home. The bar was popping up “crack corn” and my hand was in the bowl for the first half of the night. They were playing what I can only describe as AMAZING videos comprised of nude camp flicks, 70′s strippers to obscure 50′s & 60′s black & white footages.
The vibe was real. The ladies were dolled up and the crowd knew what was up. There were no costumes here folks! Beautiful people came out to hear good music. Thanks to Stack-Aly, Juliancito, Dan, Mick & Danielle (congrats on the baby girl!) for having me on last night. The honor is definitely all mine. I said I wouldn’t leave the bar without a hoodie…

We’ve been trying to make it happen for awhile, so why not just jump right in. Tomorrow night with Thee Strychnines.
